The Fantasy Wizard World is imagined by JK Rowling and has been designed for every age group. The adventure of Harry Potter is a mystery everybody (not only children) dreams of living but is lived by certain people and that too in imagination only.

Harry Potter has just turned 11 and what he may not be expecting is a giant Fellow who goes by the name of Hagrid, right outside the door of the house! ehm...an isolated house that exists on an isolated island to isolate Harry from the Wizarding World. Hogwards is the School of Wizardry and Witchcraft for special children who have inborn abilities and powers of a wizard. Though Harry's Uncle and Aunt (cuz he is an orphan) try to deprive him off the chance to go to Hogwards because according to them it is utter nonsense but letters from Hogwards had no chance of stopping.

Harry is unable to process whatever is happening in such short notice but is certainly determined to hence he goes with Hagrid to shop the course that he will need for Hogwards, As he starts to discover the strange things in the muggle world, he also finds out that he is as famous as a celebrity can get in the World of Wizards. This is where all things couldn't get any stranger in the life of Harry Potter.

The book is amazing for all ages. I read it at the age of 19 and couldn't have enjoyed it anymore than I did. This is a book I would recommend to every specie on the planet Earth.

The Tipping Point - 2000

Image result for tipping pointTHE TIPPING POINT

Rating: 4.5/5
Written By Malcolm Gladwell

The tipping point is an ingenious psychological book that defines the TIPPING point or the boiling point of something that is inexplicable but it changes the direction of a wave and suddenly a mass of people get influenced.

The Tipping point focuses and stresses on the point that TIPS and just like that the average becomes something abnormal. What the case studies present in the book like that of teenage smoking or teaching children from TV Shows are some of things very amazing about the book. Gladwell shares his research and the solutions also. So the point remains that how does little things suddenly become so significant.
Gladwell explains this through the certain kinds of people in our society that connect us or influence us so much so that the insignificant event gathers a mass of people within itself.

Overall, the book is simply a teacher and a mentor to change how we deal with social problems. The effective solutions to our mainstream problems are explained in this book. Those who love psychology and are interested in something that literally changes people's behaviors over something should read this book.

Now You See Me - 2013

NOW YOU SEE ME

Rating: 8/10
Notable Actors: Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Ruffalo
Director: Louis Leterrier

The magicians have yet again rose to heights under the heading of Now You See Me. The American thriller is quite an interesting one based on the magician's tricks and how they justify their tricks through simple illusion which once was incomprehensible.

Four Stage magicians Danny Atlas, Merritt Mckinney, Henley Reeves and Jack Wilderare given a tarot card that lead them to the same New York City empty apartment, where they find information from an unknown benefactor.
The magicians are ordinary no more and they perform certain magic tricks that quickly grasp the people's attentions towards them. The trick due to which the FBI and Interpol try to chase and get a hold on them, is that they pull off a bank heist. They steal money from a vault in Paris and 'rain' that money on their audience.

The movie is good but it lacks a strong motive and a back ground. The tricks were appealing but somethings seemed very fictitious opposed to the general idea of this movie. Acting is good enough and ending wasn't so bad hence the rating is justified. It should be watched by those who want a different kind of thriller having some taste of MAGIC.

The Amazing Spiderman - 2012

THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN
Rating: 7.5/10
Notable Actors: Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone
Director: Marc Webb

The Amaizing spiderman is the recent series of this superhero since the one of Tobey Maguire. The movie is a little more realistic version and adaptation of the comic books. Amazing Spiderman was able to handle the story well with some change in events compared to the former.

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) has gained super human powers (or spidey powers) when bitten by a genetically mutated spider. The curiosity of Peter Parker for exploiting his powers is the part where he (realistically) tries to take full advantage of his newly found capabilities (such as the web thrower).
Peter Parker wants to investigate his parents deaths and that's how his acquaintance with Dr. Curt Connors goes up a notch.

The Amazing Spiderman is a good movie but it needs more crisp. The storyline is same old one but as I have mentioned the change in events were interesting. The series can do much better especially on the depth of the superhero cuz to attain great heights the crew has to make great efforts.

Sherlock Holmes - Books

Sherlock Holmes Portrait Paget.jpg SHERLOCK HOLMES

Rating: 4.8/5
Written By: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Sherlock Holmes, the prerequisite inspiration for every 'consulting' detective in the whole wide world whether real or fictitious is a character worth reading. Adventures of Sherlock Holmes are thrill containing cases by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that not only changed the perspective on how to approach a certain case scenario but the message that little things are what matter the most yet mean the least. The complete set of books comprise of 4 novels and 56 short stories of different contexts but having a common purpose.

Mr.Holmes is a keen fellow residing in medieval London. Though London is home to highly sophisticated crimes but the most astonishing figure is Sherlock Holmes himself who has a unique set of skills to tackle whatever problem is at hand, may it demand a disguise or a more physical approach such as overwhelming the guilty. Sherlock Holmes with his accomplice who happens to be a doctor Mr.Watson are enough to solve any case however complex. The theories must be able to grasp all the facts, may it be an improbable one is what he believes.

Every single case is worth reading, every single adventure and moment are worth the time of this great figure. The readers should at least read the short stories to understand the man's nature towards the art of crime and the whole science of deduction.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians - Book Series 2005-09

Image result for Percy Jackson & the OlympiansPERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS

Rating: 3.3/5
Author: Rick Riordan

The mythological fiction is a ride for 12-15 year olds but as it gets a little older (as in my case) then this stuff gets boring. But still, in this review I won't let my personal feelings intervene in between the review and Percy.

The greek mythology kicks off with Percy Jackson the male protagonist who is trapped somewhere between the War of the bad guys (Kronos) and good guys (all the greek gods). Percy discovers that he is a demigod and that's when he feels threatened that 'maybe' some external power is trying to kill him.
Percy has dyslexia and his sweet teens are not so good with him having only one friend Grover who is not so 'human' himself. Percy has a very painful experience in the wretched school but this all changes when Camp Half Blood is introduced to him. The story proceeds nicely in favor of Percy and many secrets are told related to these fictional characters. The last part of this series is most interesting because of the way this story unfolds.

My favorite part about this book is the distinction it has created to other similar books through its merging the fictional characters with the real world stuff. Moving statues and the top floor of the Empire State building etc. The book is very good for the childhood fantasies but NOT AT ALL for ADULTS.

Inglorious Basterds - 2009

INGLORIOUS BASTERDS

Rating: 8.6/10
Notable Star: Brad Pitt
Director: Quentin Tarantino

Adventure of Jewish era with a little twist in events has been revealed under the heading of Inglorious Basterds. The alternate history is represented in a mixed fashion where one really ought to think whether the nazi's ironically, hated Jews or one of  'em who loved a Jew at the same time was an idiot.

The Plot is set in Hitler dominated France during World War II. Jews were hunted like deers and so the the tale concerns a group of Jewish men who are US soldiers and plan to take down the leader....
On another note, a Jewish girl (Melanie Laurent) had escaped the wrath of a Jew huntsman in her teenage and grew up loathing Nazi and plotting to take down the leader....
COINCIDENCE?
The Cinema was the medium through which both of the parties planned on avenging the blood thirsty wolf.

The Movie throughout was interesting. Though it was a sad narrative but the writer surely wanted to spice things up and he did with the 'fun' part. The acting is superb as expected from a Oscar winning film and the story was good as well. The alternate history part appealed more to me personally cuz the same old Jewish oppression was too depressing to watch again and again under different names. Overall the movie was fun to watch and is a must watch for everybody.
This was the scene where one would really say OWNED IT
